THE FRIENDS OF THE MERRIMAC PUBLIC LIBRARY
WHO ARE WE: The Friends are a non-profit organization made up of individuals from the community created to help focus attention on the library and stimulate public support for its activities and needs.
WHAT WE DO: Raise money that is used to help the library provide programming for children and adults, purchase museum passes, equipment and books and any other ammenities not covered by the library budget,
We raise funds through our annual membership letter and used book sales which are held once or twice a year. We encourage tax-deductible gifts, matching company contributions, endowments and bequests.
All dues and donations are tax-deductible.
Our informal meetings take place every other month in the library on the third Thursday of the month @11:00 AM. Everyone is welcome to attend. The Friends are a friendly, informal group where new members are always welcome.
If you are interested in attending one of our meetings please either check our website or e-mail us at [email protected] to confirm our meeting schedule.
